Catching up...

A lot has been going on around here lately...and when I say a lot, I can't even begin to express what I mean. On a good note, clinicals are going well. I am really enjoying what I'm doing and am feeling more and more confident each day! Its really amazing to feel like I truly make a difference in someone's life everyday and for that, I'm grateful that I'm in such a wonderful field of practice! The boys are doing great- growing more and more everyday. They have learned so many new words and Nolan has used the potty several more times and seems very interested in learning! Both of them have facial expressions that will make you fall over laughing! They are so sweet! Chris is managing well working full time and taking 18 hours of college classes! I'm very proud of him! As things in our lives are changing daily and there are a lot of uncertainties right now, please keep us in your prayers. We know that God has a plan for us and I've never doubted that!

Aunt Cindy & Uncle Dave Visit!!

Last week, Cindy & Davis flew in from Seattle to spent a week in Tennessee. It was so good to see them since it had been since Thanksgiving...I miss my sister so much and hate that she isn't here around the boys all the time! They divided the time between our family & Davis' family- 4 days here and 3 with his family. They got here Wednesday afternoon. We all went to Ruby Tuesday to catch up & eat a snack. We couldn't eat too much because Mamaw cooked dinner that night for the entire family so everyone could get together again! It was like Thanksgiving and we all ate way too much- even my boys! Thursday I had to spend all day at the docs office seeing patients for clinical time, but Cindy & Dave made it around and visited family. Thursday night, we all met at Cracker Barrel to eat dinner with my dad and brother. It had been since July that they had saw Cindy & Dave! The boys of course loved all the attention they got as well! After dinner, Cindy & Davis came over to our house to spend some time with the boys. The boys showed them their new play room and they played until time for bed! Friday, Cindy went with me to the boys Valentines Day party at daycare...it was cute seeing the boys class and playing. Then we met mom for lunch. Friday night, we went with the whole gang to Soccer Taco in Knoxville for mexican food and margaritas! We all had a good time! After dinner, we packed up and stayed at moms house so we could spend more time with them. After the boys went to bed, everyone played games! Mom cooked breakfast Saturday morning and we were lazy ALL DAY LONG! I think we watched 2 movies before moving! Everyone went out for Valentines Day Saturday night. Sunday, mom cooked a huge lunch and we all said goodbye to Cindy & Dave as they left for Estill Springs to see Dave's family! Enjoy the pictures- Cindy, I already miss you dearly! Our trip to the Mountains!

Two weeks ago, we went to Gatlinburg for 3 nights & 4 days! We rented a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom cabin with Chris' parents, Leann, Moe, Bethanie, & Robert. The cabin even had a separate game room and an extra loft which was a perfect place to let the boys sleep! We had a lot of fun exploring Gatlinburg, eating WAY TOO much, and playing lots and lots of games! We always adore spending time with our families and everyone was in need of a break from reality! Even I did not open the first book to study even though I did take them with me! Chris & I even took Moe skiing which was a lot of fun! Enjoy the pictures!
