Today, the boys each got a package in the mail. They were so excited and wanted to open them IMMEDIATELY! They even cried when I took the packages away so I cut cut them open! Inside each package were 2 books- and better yet- books about dinosaurs, tractors, heavy equipment, and animals! They were so excited and wanted to read each book right away! Needless to say, we read all 4 books 3 times before finally going to bed! Thanks Aunt Cindy & Uncle Davis! Nolan & Jonas love you very much and sing "Night Night" to you both every night!

My favorite little men...
I have really enjoyed spending time with Jonas & Nolan the last couple weeks- not that I didn't love it before because I'm their biggest fan- but they have grown so much recently, their vocabulary has tripled, and they are so funny! Today I was taking them to get some chicken nuggets for lunch. (Yes, I'm one of those parents who actually hates giving them chicken nuggets for every meal, but when Jonas looked at me today and said "I wan ticken nugget"- I just couldn't say no!) On the way to Wendys (they prefer Wendys over McDonalds!)
I said "boys, would you all like Mommy to take you to Dollywood tomorrow?"
Nolan replied "No mommy, I want yogurt."
Me- But we can have some yogurt when we get home and then we can still go to Dollywood tomorrow!
Nolan- No, yogurt tomorrow too!
Jonas- No Nowan- Doweewood!
Nolan- No Jojo, I want yogurt!
After explaining that we could have yogurt today and tomorrow and still go to Dollywood, everyone was happy! I can't get over that my boys can actually talk to me know and fully understand! They are growing way too fast!! Here are some updated pictures of them over the past couple weeks!
What could be better than being 2 years old and eating a cupcake & drinking milk on the back of the boat at 10pm?!?
Nolan saying "cheese"...excited over finding easter eggs in the closet!
Nolan was trying to shut Jonas up in the drawer- so when I told Nolan he couldn't do that- just jumped in the drawer with Jonas!

John Deere Green....

Jonas and Nolan have been crazy about tractors, bulldozers, and gators since they could talk! And if it's green and John Deere- it's that much better! They love going to visit their papaw since they live on a farm and gets to ride on large equipment on a regular basis. More than that, they ADORE riding on the Gator! Chris and I had been talking for a while about buying them a power wheels vehicle for each of them. They got a powerwheels truck for their birthday, but only having 1 doesn't work with 2 boys. That being said, we couldn't buy 1 John Deere...oh the fights that would be had! So we went to Walmart to check out our options. They had a John Deere tractor with trailer- but they also had a John Deere Gator! Chris immediately went for the gator. I needed more time! The Gator was over $120 more expensive for just 1! So Chris starts his sales pitch... After going over the 2, we noticed that the Gator has a weight limit of 130 lbs! The tractor only 80 lbs... that did it, I was sold. (The best part- I can ride with the boys!) So we had them bring 2 Gators to the front and we took them home! Chris was so excited- like a little kid on Christmas! He worked in the garage for hours putting them together and putting all the stickers on! I videoed the boys finding them which was priceless! After seeing their reactions, I knew we made the right decision! Jonas and Nolan both do excellent driving them! I am blown away at how smart they are! Enjoy the pictures!

Uncle Dave & Aunt Cindy Visit!!!
Cindy & Davis came in a day before we left on vacation for one reason: they missed the lake! So we loaded up on Mimi & Poppy's boat and headed to Blue Springs Marina to meet up with everyone and celebrate! The boys love riding on the boat and LOVE going to the marina because there are so many fish and turtles to feed! Cindy & Davis also got to stay 2 extra days after we got back from vacation before returning home to Seattle & we feel blessed to have been able to spend so much time with them!
