Seattle Bound....

Sunday morning, I loaded Jonas & Nolan up and we headed to moms to say "see ya later" (I don't say goodbye- just a rule!) to Cindy & Davis! We got there in time to help Mimi cook breakfast for everyone, eat, and help them load up! I knew seeing them leave was going to be hard, but I didn't know how hard it actually going to be until it came time to do so. I cried, mom cried, and Cindy cried- if you know Cindy at all, you know she is like the strongest woman I've ever met! She handles everything with such a calm manner and never, I repeat NEVER cries! So I know this was just as hard on her- seeing her tears broke my heart that much more! After a lot of hugs and watching her love on the boys, they got in their car and headed off on their journey! While I will miss her sooo much, I am so excited that they are getting this chance of a lifetime to travel & see things a lot of people will never get the chance to do! They were leaving moms and traveling to Nashville 1 night, Houston, TX for 2 nights, Arizona for 3 nights- LA, California for 2 nights- wine country, California for a night, and then on to Seattle! What a trip- stopping places to visit and driving the pacific coast! I talked to Cindy earlier and they were in New Mexico. They've been gone 3 days and I've already booked plane tickets so Chris & I can take the boys to visit them in Seattle in November!

Cindy & Davis are moving....

Last Saturday evening, Mom & Greg had a going away party for Cindy & Davis with all their family & friends at their house. We all grilled out, swam, played ping pong & pool, and enjoyed each other. I couldn't believe it was finally time for them to move...it seems like we started talking about it forever ago! Cindy & Davis were wonderful and surprised Chris & I with a web cam so we can talk to them over the computer (although its mainly so they can talk to the boys!) I couldn't stand the thought of saying goodbye on Saturday night even though I cried like a baby! I decided me and my boys would make another trip early Sunday morning to wish them off! Lil Sis is 21!!

A week before we went to the beach, we went with Bethanie & the crew out to celebrate her 21st birthday! It was fun watching her have a good time and greet 21 with regrets the next morning! Everyone had a great time dancing and enjoying themselves. As for myself & Chris- it was the first time we've been out since before I got pregnant! I couldn't believe how exhausted I was at midnight! We were troopers though and made it until almost 2am before we called it a night and drove home! Though we were excited to be a part of Bethanie's night, we were reminded how much we don't miss those days! After making sure everyone had a sober driver, we were out and in bed as soon as we walked in the door! Thanks Bethanie for inviting us- we love you more than you'll ever know! Thanks Cindy & Davis for keeping the boys overnight- I know you enjoyed every minute of it! Enjoy the pictures!

Myrtle Beach 2008!!!

Last week, we made our final vacation trip of the summer and headed to Myrtle Beach with my family. We had such a wonderful time! We stayed at Westgate which has an amazing kiddie pool with so many things for the boys to do! They LIVED in the water the entire week! We enjoyed playing games, floating around the lazy river, walking on the beach, eating WAY TOO MUCH, watching the boys experience new things, and being with the ones we love so much! It was also nice to have a week with Aunt Cindy & Uncle Davis before they moved to Seattle! Thanks Mimi & Poppy for having us- you both mean the world to us!
